DATES FOR 2013


April 19, 20, and 21 is the first weekend for The Bag Lady Tour
April 26, 27, and 28 is the second weekend.
This is a self-driving tour.
At the first stop you would pick up a flyer with map on the back and a bag.
Each location will stamp your flyer and give you a gift to put into your bag.
When you finish your tour, turn in the flyer to be placed in a drawing to win a prize.
Also each day there will be a small wooden bag at one of the locations.
If you find this wooden bag, you winn a gift certificate good at any of the businesses.

May 11th is the Gazebo Garden Walk.
There will be antiques, arts, crafts, plants & garden accents available.

Starting June 9th through August 11th, every Sunday evening will be a Concert in the Park.

June 14th & 15th will be the Villiage-Wide Sidewalk and Yard Sales.

Starting June 14th through October 25th, every Friday evening will be the Farmers Market.

June 20th - 22nd will be the Ohio Scottish Games Festival at the Lorain County Fairgrounds.
There will be Highland dancing, singing, fiddle, bagpipe & drumming competitions,
Border Collie demonstrations, workshops, children games, and lots of other entertainment and food.
This is a fun activity for the entire family!

June 22nd is the Annual Fairy Festival at the Days of Yore Herb Farm on Jones Road.

The Celebration in the Park will be July 3rd and 4th.
Wednesday evening will have a concert and ice cream social near the Town Hall.
That evening at dusk will be the fireworks.
Thursday morning activities will continue.  The parade will be at 3 pm. 

July 19th - 21st will be the Annual Cheese Heritage Festival.
Lots of food and games near the Town Hall with a parade on Saturday at 3 pm.

From August 19th through August 25th will be the Lorain Country Fair, at the Lorain County Fairgrounds.
Animals, rides, food, entertainment every day.  Another great family activity.  Check out their website.

The Engine Show will be from September 20th through September 22nd.
Steam engines, car show, and much more all at the Lorain County Fairgrounds.

September 27th - 29th the Wellington Eagles will have Oktoberfest.
German food, beer, and entertainment.

October will bring the Country Autumn Tour and Halloween activities.

December has Christmas in the Village with craft bazaars and parade.
